Like a Pheonix rising from the ashes, this substantial new home rose from the
footprint of the old 1950s dwelling that was there before.
Retaining the beautiful rimu flooring was the objective. Capturing views of the Arthur Range was also a priority which was why a second story was created for the main bedrooms and lounge.
A spacious, light home was created linking to morning and afternoon outdoor spaces. The plan wraps around where the old kitchen once was and nestles under an expansive sheltering roof.
