The shoe shop in the heart of the Mount Maunganui shopping area was in
desperate need of a make over.
The storage area took up half the leasable space and the client wished to display as much product as possible.
In order to draw the eye from the pedestrian traffic, a diminishing winding path was created to entice customers in. Display panels were orientated to the entrance with storage areas in between. The ceiling also reflects the winding path. This was reinforced with lighting and culminates at the back of the shop with a new spherical light hovering over a large circular squab.
